I DO know google is doing routine indexing. I DON'T know
if it is done with my website or not but I DO know that
my daily unique visitor is down to 30% left now.
Can somebody tell me what is happening with my website?
Thanks.

If the drop has occurred since the update began a few days ago, then:
1) Check your server stats. (Has the proportion of Google referrals to other referrals changed dramatically?)
2) Do an "allinurl:yourdomain" search on Google to see how many of your pages are indexed. (If you don't find any pages, you've got a problem.)
3) Check to see what PageRank the Google toolbar shows for your home page and other key pages. (If the PR looks normal, you needn't worry that you've been penalized.)
The PR stays the same, that's the only thing I am glad now.
The webpage indexed is down from 1530 to 66 ( now 60 )after
I use 'allinurl' search. And no newadded webpages indexed
yet. About the server stats, I don't get it, sorry
(newbie ).
BTW, where could I find banned sites list?
How many webpages a sites can have, to have SE, especially
google nearly 100% indexes it?
Thanks
Dan, you say your ranks and PR have gone up?
How many keyphrases do you check? Have you compared your list of google referals from last month to this month? I suspect that most people that do not watch their stats don't realize how many keyphrases their traffic really comes from. My top keyphrase changes monthly.
Have you checked the PR on all your pages? Did you lose any pages or change your navigation this month? If an internal page that was drawing a lot of your traffic got dropped, or had it's PR go down, you might be losing out on a keyphrase that brought in a lot of your traffic that you didn't even know about.
Dan
1)Traffic way up 300-400%
2)Sales almost Double.
3)Conversions obviously way down.
No doubt the tweaking of our site based on the information gathered in webmasterworld has helped a lot. The conversions are down, but it is to be expected with less qualified customers.
Does anyone have stats regarding traffic and decrease in conversion?
For the sites mentioned in this thread with declining sales and traffic, is any of it related to new competition?
