Just a question,

I know that a site can be penelized and loose all PR
but is it possible to loose PR gradually.

Supposing a site has a PR of 6 and after some time some websites which are linking to that site remove the links will the site loose it's PR gradually?

Yes. Sites go offline and/or remove links all the time. If one of those links is to your site and it happens to you often enough, you could loose PR.

Absolutely. If a site loses incoming links, its PR will probably go down. And the same can be true even if the same links stay in place but some of those sites see their PageRank decrease.

That's why the job of the linkbuilder is never done...
