not one keyword on the top 10

how is it possible that I have a pr5 for months now, but my keywords never make it in thetop 10 of the results?

and ranking for my position just don't change, and this dance is the same as the last one.

for example:
there are a lot of results which don't have the keyword in the title or in the url and they are in the first 25 serps's, whereas my keywords are everywhere on my site (title, url, files, text, alt etc) but never show up in good positions.

even when i try certain keyphrases from my site *"in quotes"* i am never in the top 10, whereas others which don't have the phrase in their title have a better ranking...

has anyone experienced that too?

Probably just a lot more learning and reading to do, HuhuFruFru. Brett has a 12 month plan for improving a web site that often works well. It focuses on making new content for a site.

googleguy...i have put my site in profile..i have 10+ sites in various fields, they are not crosslinked..

this is my first paid domain i bough ever, i have it over 5 years or more..i am kinda sentimentally attached to this domain..pop up was added in last month..croslsinkeing was removed..i think site is pretty clean..yes, this site is basically affilaite site but it was always palced good until that pr 0 penalty over 1 year and half ago..i have some jokes on this page, photoshop stuff and nothing gets traffic now since it is pr 0 (all pages except index wchih is pr 1)..
the problem is t gets traffic from other search engines...jsut not google..i am feeling kidna sad to throw away this domain becasue it brough me a lot fo moneyand this was started fo me in net biz..

i know i know affilaite etc.. but this is not reason to get that kind of penaly for so long..

can you check the site and tell me if this domais is permanently penalized?ios there any chance that penalty will be fully lifted and that pageswill get pr that site deserves? you cna sticky email me if you cant say on forum..

as i said i thin kthat site is clean now for very long time..but penalty jsut doesnt wantto go..i have several others biznisess but i am asking forthis one becasue this as i said has sentimental value to me..

if you find me anything that i overlooked please tell me..i just think i cleaned it and there is no intentional "tricks" because i really dont like that THIS domain has pr penalty. all other i dont care justt this one :)

i know it has pr 1 but all other pages are pr 0 and pr 1 is not enough - i would like normal pr values back ...is there are chance or is this domain doomed?
