Penalties and other seach engines...

OK, your site gets booted from Google, for whatever reason.

Presumably your site will remain in Google data partners until they next update their own index from Google (ie they wont do manual penalties)? Is this right?

What about non Google affiliated sites? Do they pay any attention to Google penalities?

Naturually they are all trying to do their own thing, but surely they must pay attention to the big G (industry leader n all..)?

Any experience with this?

Not a burning issue though! Just whiling away my last 40 minutes of work! :)

No, there is no way for them to know. It's hard enough to just figure it out yourself.
