Later update..will more newer pages be included?

Will they use a more recent index for the update?

Since the dance has'nt started yet and we are getting later into the month, will Google use a later version of their index (including pages submitted and crawled mid-month) for the dance?

It is hard to say with a definitive answer. My suggestion is get yourself a bunch of reciprocal links. Take a look at my scenario this month.

Dec. 12, bought new domain,

Dec. 15, uploaded site,

Dec. 16-20, traded about 20 or so reciprocal links with past reciprocal link partners that trust me. Also got into several Google "seed" directories.

Dec. 23 - noticed I was getting straight traffic from Google, checked my ranking, saw I was #75 out of 140,000 with a gray PageRank bar. I have stayed at #75 since then. Not bad on a gray bar and a site that is only in there because of the Freshbot.

You submitted in the middle of the month? I'm thinking you may not get included this time around but it's hard for me to say. Do what I did, submit to the seeds and trade some quality reciprocal links. Do that and you can rest easier.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Zapatista. Its an existing site with sufficient backlinks. Its a PR6 and gets hit by freshbot daily (usually). I restructured the site mid-month and was hoping that the new content would be included. But looking at your experience I probably should'nt hold my breath...
