I see your point, but refuse to believe there is "any" better place than this Forum which can help.

without sounding negative in relation to your post.
there are people on here for 18 hours a day trying to crack the google thing for top listings (some do well, others fail miserably).
There is NO easy 1 page guide, at least NOT that I know off.
Time and Patience, combined with a desire to learn will get you far, and this place is the one that will achieve it for you.

(btw, I only spend 12 hours a day on here, the other 12 are spent using the knowledge gained, and posting in FOO)
A one page primer is virtually impossible since algos are constantly changing. I can honestly say though, that strictly due to knowledge that members here have shared with me, I have been able to achieve top positions on Google in a short (30-60 days) amount of time.

It is all here for just about anything you need to know as a webmaster, but for Google in particular you can't get better.
