I've just searched around and a site of a competitor came up having a PR of 7 so I switched to google to see where his backlings are coming from. Most backlings point to high PR sites which have a text link to the target site. The text has the same color as the background color and therefore the links are hidden. The content of the backlinks have absolutely nothing to do with the content they target at.
Any idea what I can/should do?
