From the Financial Post in Canada

"Search engine Google.com discovers profit"
Full-Text Available Here [canada.com]

Yet, Google Inc. says it is profitable, while analysts estimate it has annual revenue of US$60- million to US$100-million. It is difficult, however, to determine Google's exact size because it is privately owned and does not disclose its financials.

Mr. Kordestani [Google's senior vice-president of worldwide sales] said the corporate market is an example of how Google is exploring new growth opportunities. Another strategic priority, he said, is international markets as the company attempts to capitalize on the fact that more than half of its search queries are done by Web users outside the U.S. Google has opened a number of sales office around the world, including an office in Toronto headed by Wendy Muller.

They are beginning to move away from their cult status, and into the mainstream

This whole article seems to be written by someone who has been living under a rock.

It recently started selling a new product called Google-in-a-Box

Not so recently.

The writer has not been living under a rock. He's been living for sure in the Amazonian jungle and a few days ago came back to civilization ;)
