linking to pr0 pages internally question

I've got a situation on one of my sites where some very deep pages on the site have recently gone from PR1-2 to PR0.

I'm worried that this cancer may spread to the whole site, as I am linking from higher PR pages (same site) to those newly PR0 pages.

- Will this cause higher PR pages on the same site to drop if they are linking to the PR0?
- Or is this likely a precursor to the whole site going PR0?

btw, the PR0 pages are image pages, all the pages have very similar text/links (sitewide header/footer) but a different image. There are a lot of links on each page, but they are all internal except for a few. Perhaps this is confusing Google.

looks like those pages which dropped to PR0 are "natural" PR0 pages as they already had a relatively low PR before the drop.

PR0 penalty pages normally take some drastic spamming and link farming with exteranl PR0 pages as far as I can oversee.

Thanks vitaplease, I guess simultaneously browsing through all these PR0 posts and noticing the change on my site freaked me out for a moment. I hope you are right.
