How did google find me?

Not that I mind, but I'm puzzled

I have a new domain that I registered primarily to use in a print ad, which just came out yesterday. I have not linked the domain from any of my other pages, nor does my ad appear to show up in the web site that corresponds to the publication in which my ad appears. None the less, I noticed today that the site got a visit from Google. Anyone know how this could have happened?

check www.archive.org (not perfect, but the best we got) to see if it was a different site previously

Spider found me, not a searcher. Archive.org doesn't have anything for that domain name, and it's a variation on my name, so probably hasn't had a great long history. So far, I think I've had one non-google, non-me hit, which I suppose *could* have been someone with the google toolbar. Any way to tell from the logs? (Print ad came out yesterday.)

If I ever really want to hide from Google, I'll put it in my robots.txt, so this is not important. Just a curiosity.
