Good afternoon from Spain,

I have been reading old posts about services to know the link popularity but I have a mess.....

I usually use the service of a tool to check my link popularity. Is there a risk of having my site banned from Google if I often use it?

I am worried about this and I would like to know your experience and your opinion. How can I check the number of links to my site without falling foul of their overloading rules?

Thank your for your help,

Regards,

Hi blue_sky, Welcome to Webmaster World [webmasterworld.com]

First of all I would like to direct you attention to the welcome thread and read about using links in your post. (hint: it's a no go)

Regarding your question there is nothing wrong with using these linkpop tools but also no reason to do it more than once after each Google update. If anyone is going to get banned from Google it's the linkpop checher
