I was just reading through the archives and I came upon a post where somebody said
I've been watching the 7 google data centers as well as www www2 & www3
I know about www www2 www3 but what are the others.

Which is the first of the above to dance? I mean, which center has the biggest overall influence for www.google.com or are they all basically the same when it comes to importance?

I have never verified this. They could be switching that at every update.
Can we know why you are interseted to it?
Is located in San Jose, which would probably be the first one to dance, because it's the quickest one to transfer the new index to.
BTW, IMO www-ex and www-zu are currently offline. When you search at their domains, you definitely get results from other data centers (Look at the IP that the "cached" link points to.) This has been for quite some time now. Additionally, when you search at their IPs, the results seem to come from other data centers. This was pretty obvious during the last dance because the SERP were permanently switching between the old and the new index, what they are not supposed to do when you search at one data center.
