How to link several doors

Hi dears,

I got a question and Ih hope you'll help me along. I have a page with PR5 but am not listet very well in Google (still another proof of PR not beeing responsible for rankings). So I would like to build some doorway pages (not many, maybe 5) an to link them from my PR 5 page. As I know beeing penalized by crosslinking between several pages (my Doors start all at PR0) I would like to link them in an way that Google does not penelize.

So please give me an advice, any hint on how to link the Doors among each other and from the main page (PR5).

ah.....I'm not that newbie you may think right now, but I already made that ugly experience of beeing penelized by google because of crosslinking too many pages. For this time (as I learned from that), I'm gonna be twice careful.

I disagree about that.

Doorway pages? I wouldn't get too greedy.

Five this month will lead to 10 2 months from now. Four months from now you'll be addicted and in doorway rehab posting messages on here that happen everyday.

I am a recovering doorway user. Don't get hooked is my advice. Your time is better spent writing fresh, original content and seeking quality link exchanges.

Yes. Find relevant sites and write to the webmaster asking them if they want to link to you or offering a link exchange. That's quality -- anything else is likely to be spam.

Used to work 6-12 hours a day, find approximately 12 sites I'd want to exchange links with and maybe get back a yes on 6 of them.

There is no easy way, especially if you want quality.

I'm with radiosky; it's not proof of that at all. PR5 is about average, so it's not doing much to help you -- or to hurt you.

If you had a PageRank of 8 or 9 and could still say you're not ranked well, that might provide the "proof."

If Google catches on you might just get a PR penalty, or worse the dreaded PR0. Walk, no RUN away from that idea!
