How to search backlinks with one result per domain?

Is there a way to search google for backlinks but have each domain show up only once instead of many times?

Not really. Google's link commands are pretty weak when compared to other engines.

If you just want to exclude all the pages from your own site, your best bet would be to use the advanced search page at alltheweb.com

WebGuerrilla - any idea as to the cause here.

Maybe something simply as duplicate links from/to the same page (e.g - top of page and bottom links as well).

I haven't looked at this too closely but I really can't see another reason for the duplication.
