Google's translation software for foreign language pages is great. But it gets a bit confused when the content is in both English and another language.

You can try this out for example by searching for 'english francais' and translating the cooking recipe result. Not only is the French content translated to a close approximation of English, but the English content is also modified from perfect English to something more amusing. Is this because Google assumes the English words are French?

I don't know but you won't catch me doing the following:

"Cover the cucumbers with ice toilets and let stand overnight"

"Combine the vinegar and sugar with 2 cups of toilets in A pot, boil for 3 minutes, then add the salt. "
