Google to lose a distribution partner?

According to this article, there is some speculation Google could lose a partner... .Earthlink? AOL? Who knows, what do you guys think?

"Some say that Overture is close to signing up a new customer, one currently contracted with Google, in the next couple of weeks, however."

Would anyone that works at Google, like a Google-Guy care to comment? :) Just curious if there's any real chance of this happening, especially with AOL.
