Cox Communications, a major broadband ISP in the USA, sent it's subscribers (myself) email today announcing the December launch of it's new start page featuring Google internet search. Cox has been a steady climber in recent years, offering high-speed internet service as well as digital telephone service, digital and high definition cable television, and on demand entertainment competing with satelite services.

That should see an interesting increase in traffic. Didn't cox internet just acquire the ATT Cable service? (ATT was using Google for their search service for their subscribers...)

<------ Glad that Google still doesn't charge to be included. :)

>launch of it's new start page

My question would be how many users ever go to their start page.

I have been with them for 2 years.
Went to start page once during tech support phone call. Saw all the spam in my mailbox and never went back.

Wasn't it Cox that Google blocked for a weekend last spring?
