can anyone help with my dilema? I have an established site that deals with "city widgets", part of that site has an affiliate link to a frames page for "sprockets". The "sprockets" page is referenced as part of the overall navigation from each page on the "city widgets" site. Its shows up well for city sprockets as the site is optimised for city. Now on the same server i have a dedicated site for "sprockets". If i leave the linking structre seperate for each site i have two sites on the same server with similar content. I would like to change the links from the "city widgets" site so each link for "sprockets" goes to the "sprockets" site. Would this be seen by google as spamming. Sprockets wouldnt link back but it would have some 300 links from a site on the same server.

I do not think the same server makes a difference. I have 260 websites on the same server with the same IP. They are about 7 months old and vary from a PR3 to a PR5 and steadily increasing. The 260 sites are similar setup but with a different city theme or focus with different content.
They also link to each other in one way or another.
I would also like to hear others experiences.

ok..but im talking about linking out from almost every page on one site to the home page on another. Is this acceptable to google? once again i will not be linking back from the second site.
