Maybe others have see this, but I submitted a new site on 13, Nov., and by 16 Nov. it was indexed with a fresh date and cached. Ranking well on some keyword combos already, with no PR showing.
Can I expect this listing to get fluxed out until later even though there is daily spidering?

If you don't change the content, or have very good inbound links you will probably drop out in a week or something like it, but yes they are very good. But the pages will later be picked up by the "normal spider" and indexed in the next update (not the one comming up)
The last page i published on a totally fresh domain, was index within 40 hours, and i didn't use any secret submission form.

I am still waiting for Google to come and stop by in 8 days, Altavista has and I think it enjoyed its stay :) just wish Googlebot would hurry up!

There are some on topic inbound links, some from my own sites, and some from others. Maybe I should tweak the content a little to try to stay in?

I had a page that ranked number one for its main keyword, it wasnt updated for over a month, and in the end it slipped down on to page three. I updated it and the last big dance saw it go back to number one, this month I added 2 more paragraphs and got two inbound links for that page, which I hope is enough for it to stay on top for another month.
