Google Site CACHED - How often? and what determines?

One of my sites is visited and cached every other day

I have a question. One of my website is updated in the google cache every other day. However 2 of my other sites haven't been updated for a long time. Is there anyway to have the other sites updated? What determines how often they are updated?

I don't think that anybody outside Google could give precise answers to your questions. But there are some experts in this forum that might get pretty close. Hopefully one of them sees your question. Until then I will try my little bit.

It seems that when freshbot finds a page it will tend to come back. And if it finds some change there is a good chance that it will keep returning. (But you can _not_ be sure.) My advice would be that you link from often updated pages to the sites that have not been found by freshbot. Then you may _hope_!
