We have noticed over the past week that our traffic decreased by half. After much searching and worry, we found a broken link on our pages. I am hoping that this caused the grey toolbar on Google. We have corrected the problem. Does anyone have an idea how long it may take to get back to where we were?

Hey Willtell if your site was penalized it could take up to 3 months. If not, it should be okay for the next update.

A grey toolbar, accoring to the popup tooltip, means that the page isn't in the index. That would be a really good reason for you to not get traffic to it.
Now that you've corrected it, you've got a little bit of hope for a freshbot crawl.
Do you know if the corrected link has been spidered for next months update yet?
