Hi Guys,

Hope you can provide me with some more info on the infamous google dance. I have checked my 25 top keywords over the last 20 hours on www and ranked them all. Some were great, some not so great. I just did a check of some of my keywords and there all gone. Rankings either dropped out of the first 50 pages or dropped 300 places. I just checked www3 for some of my keywords and the ones i checked are where they were on www earlier today. Is this the Google Dance? Based on this what can i expect re my rankings over the next few days? Will the www3 rankings return to www?

Thanks for your assistance. I nearly hads a heart attack when i saw all my rankings gone.

Regards,

Scott

3. My site appears on www2 and www3, but not on www.google.com
This is a part of the update if there has been an update, and your site appears on www2 or www3, your site is more than likely to be included when google is finished with the update. It normally takes about 3-7 days for google to move the index from www2 and www3, so it’s stable at www.google.com

4. Ranking goes up - down - now up again!
This is normal, google always tweek there algo, and often more than usual when they have a new index. Also it may change quickly depending on the site, if it gets updated daily and if other listings are update daily.

The results you see on www3, and www2 will progress to WWW soon, sometimes you see the new index on WWW, but you need to wait a few days before it becomes stable, only then can you tell which positions you have.
