2 months in the index, but still gray?

Hi guys,

I launched my new site on 8/02, and it got into the google index on 9/02 (I mean, at the end of 9/02 you could have looked up my site in google).
However, even though I'm in the index, and I got a couple of backlinks in the index, I still show as gray (no PR at all...)
I have no idea why.
Also, I when I look for "mydomain" in google, I get pages that have links to me. but when I look up "link:mydomain" I get 0 results back :-(

Does anyone have an idea why does my site gray, or why can't I find the backlinks in the index?
I looked up on my site, and all the HTML is valid, and I think everything is standard and follows all the SEO tips.

I've put so much work into it and I'm really frustrated... any feedback is appreciated :-)

any idea, though, why is it that even though i have backlinks since the 9/02 index i get 0 results when i look for "links:mysite"?

May be it will be PR3, and they show only links for PR4 and higher!

Good point. Google DOESN'T show all backlinks. Only those over PR3. Are you not seeing backlinks over PR3 you should? And remember, other sites may have dropped in PR since last month.
