Say I have a PR4 site.
Then say 50 PR3, 20 PR2 and 5 PR1 sites link to this PR4 site. Will that increase the PR4 to PR5? Or in other words, will it have a positive effect?
( Note that these numbers are only an example, vary them with whatever. )
Another question:
Is the PR "rub-off" higher with less links on the page?
Say I have 10 outlinks on a page, is that better than 20?
Meaning, will the 10 sites get a better PR value than if I had 20 links? Hmm, poorly explained, but I hope you understand what I mean... :)
Aaaand another one:
Does Google care about sites linking to eachother being on the same IP-block? Or even on the same IP?
And the last one:
When will you see an actual change in PR, in the toolbar I mean? Say the update/crawl is today, how long till it will reflect in the PR bar?

Yes... eventually you will increase, however, the number of links at the lower level means you need "alot" to produce a "toolbar" increase.

Yes... the actual PageRank passed on to you is divided by the number of outbound links on the sending page. An example - receiving a link from a PR4 with no other links is more valuable (to PR transfer) than a PR5 page with 10 links.

Not Really, but the more diverse the IP addresses are the better. If for example: the host you are on receives a penalty and all of your links are from IP's on that host your complete linking infrastructure will likely be "more" affected than a linking structure made from other more unqiue IP's.

Once the dance occurs -- Google changes www2 or www3 to wwww.google a change will be apparent.
If you go to www2.google or www3.google when the update occurs type in your domain name -- and click through you can "sometimes" get an advance look at a potential toolbar increase.
