I was considering setting up a Yahoo Store for an online business. Does anyone have any comments on how Google Ranking protocols work with Yahoo Store Coding...

Are there disadvantages in using Yahoo Stores

For example, I noticed that all Yahoo stores begin with the following before the head tags:

<html><script language="javascript">
<!--
if (document.referrer && (document.referrer!='') && window.Image)
{
(new Image).src="http://redirect1.vip.store.yahoo.com/cgi-... etc

From my experience working with the Yahoo! store format, my opinion is as follows:

If you don't need to use the Yahoo! store, don't!

Yes... I am still considering options, advantages and disadvantages - but one important thing is how Yahoo Coding may (or may not) create problems on Google/PR/Spidering etc....

If you have any concrete comments or suggestions, it would be appreciated!

thanks - Jane-O

i'm actually in the process of setting up a yahoo store. My boss saw some competetor getting high ranks for certain keywords, so he wanted me to make a duplicate of the other guy's yahoo store.

BTW, i think the entire yahoo setup stinks. God forbid if you accidently hit the 'back' button on your browser while setting up this store.
