One of the sites i manage is a free non profit making site, which is often discussed in Yahoo groups, as well as being submitted into some group link pages. some of these pages show a high PR in google toolbar - is this passed on to the site...?

just something that would be interesting to know...

I haven't seen any credit from a Yahoo Group posting (or LINK listing). That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, I've just never seen a group in the index.

I run a few groups and they are all in the index and believe that the PR is benefiting my site...

Yahoo page has a huge pr. I don't know if your site would benefit or not. It would be interesting to hear what GG has to say about it...

Yahoo groups have started to require cookies to view the actual pages a few months ago. If any search engine still has some of those listed, then that's probably a sign of an outdated index.
