How Can One Fix a Google '0' Link Popularity

Some of my sites were affected over a year ago when google did the weird thing and made some sites have a 0 link popularity even when they had other sites pointing to them. Some of my sites corrected themselves but others are still affected. How can I fix this - is it possible?

If it's been a year - I'd rebuild the site on a new domain, obtain new listings, etc.

Or you can try emailing and pleading - I've had it happen to a site before, and asking them about it did no good. :(

Good luck, and let us know if you get your PageRank back.

It depends on what's causing it - it could be anything from offensive coding to server issues. Make sure you have checked all possibilities before trying to start over or you may just repeat the same mistake.

Check it with Brett's Spider Simulator [searchengineworld.com] and you can eliminate the possibility of 'access' as a reason the site was PR O'd.

Usually, Google is very, very good at crawling links, etc...and has no problems following 301's, 302's, and also parsing out bad HTML (have seen pages and pages with bad stuff, yet they get indexed).

My money says it's none of the above...but it never hurts to check. :)

jadakiss2,
I remember the site in your profile. Many sites that lost their rankings at the same time have come back. If you haven't done anything else wrong you should see the site or sites relisted.
