Anyone have any idea when?

Just wondering whether anyone had any clear ideas on when Google's next likely to crawl? I've got a few modifications I want the Googlebot to find, but don't want it to come round too soon! :)

No one ever really knows the exact day. But its normally anytime know, although last month was a few days later than expected.

But it can happen from anytime know, till the end of the month.

As Andrew points out we don't know which day, but Brett's Google Update History [webmasterworld.com] should give a good idea.

lazerzubb's Google Update FAQ [webmasterworld.com] is essential reading, along with the Google Knowledge Base [webmasterworld.com].

I submitted a page 3 weeks ago, and Google just finally crawled it yesterday. Lo and behold, I'm now #2 in the results brought up by what my site tracking software says is my most searched keyword. #2 in Google, Yahoo, and AOL!

God bless the iron fist of Google. :P

clutchfind:

Watch this link very carefully, if it was pulled by the freshbot, it may dissappear in 24-48 hours not to surface again until this or even the next up date.

The next deep crawl will probably be sometime in the first couple of weeks of November and be included in the update at the end of November.

I am starting to see different results in Google 2 and 3 for some of my primary key phrases.

I'm getting a lot of sites deep crawled, up until yesterday, but very little spidering today.

Googlebot ran through some more sites I watch a couple days ago, took their pages, etc...but from the traffic, it looks just like a normal day.

Though from what I've been seeing in the SERP's, some of the content they are still listing is about 4 months old (that's when one company that I was watching was acquired) all the current links get redirected to the new corporate owner, but it seems they are still benefiting from these old listings for the acquired, no longer existing, domain / content.

well, my traffic has skyrocketed, but I am a bit concerned about the whole "freshbot" thing. This might be a case of everflux, but I really hope it isn't. :)

I think my Y! Categories "little red arrow" is helping my Google rank somewhat......
