Hi, just a quick one. I have just added two new sites to google and after only a very short wait (2 days in one case) they are showing in google search results if i type in the name, but not the .com it seems they are showing up in search results, but arent 'bedded down' into the index...

they are both showing up as yesterday in the results. and when i go to each site - it still shows grey PR...

is this normal for new sites? and what is causing this?

would be interesting to know

Hey Harley, there's been a lot of talk about this, this seems to be the normal process for a new site.

It gets spidered and added, then dropped, until in about a month's time it's solidly added to the database and ranked for its phrases.

Harley_m,

About six weeks until they'll be "solid" I'm afraid... The update after next. Until then, you may see "fresh" listing pop in and out. See the "everflux [searchengineworld.com]" threads.
