A PR Question

Who votes for the PR linking page or the linking web site

When you get a backlink, the PR of the referral counts in your PR. Now who votes for the PR? Linking page or the linking web site (home page)? For example, you site is in Yahoo directory. So will your PR be decided by Yahoo's home page (PR10) or the directory list (say, PR6)?

Linking page. The original paper on Page Rank makes no mention of the concept of a site, it sees the web as a set of interconnected pages.
