I work for a company that has a website that has many of its static pages hosted on a different webserver - this is due to bandwidth issues. I realize that this problem alone will result in poor rankings. But that is only one of the problems. But I digress. Anyway, we are thinking about creating several sub pages using "www.website.com/information.asp?name=whatever" which will be optimized for se's but will not be available to visitors - "search engine food". The suggestion is to use 1x1 invisible pixels and link to all these pages. My concern is whether or not google will consider this spamming of some sort. Secondly, will google index these pages that are dynamic (containing?) and can they eventually rank high, or would your recommenations be to try and create static pages that contain proper extensions like htm, asp, etc.?
