Hey, question... we just started getting a bunch of links from an affiliate site that we teamed up with.. our site is a yahoo store and lets say the site is called Cameraworld.com, this guy has a whole bunch of links coming into our site from PR4 pages, however because it is an affiliate site their is a special hyperlink for people to click.. the hyperlink says Cameraworld with the coding of...

Because of this funky looking affiliate tracking hyperlink code, will this be counted as an inbound link or will it not count because of the special coding? Thanks to all who have experience with this!

No, it looks like it has a session id in it. Won't be counted.

Thanks! When you say a session id though,what do you mean by that? Sorry.. I dont totally understand the make up of these sort of links...

A session ID is a type of cookie that yahoo use that would identify the user, but then gets deleted, not like a typical cookie that sits on your pc till you delete it yourself.

Not to hot on the info on them though :)
