Site listed in ODP 9/12 appeared in cat update 9/24 still not in Googl

Google still hasn't picked it up.

Hi,

The ODP at DMOZ listed a site I've been reworking on 9/12/02. It showed up in the category which had been updated on 9/24. It still has not shown up in Google. Does anyone have a feel for how long it will take Google to pick it up? How often does Google download the ODP database? Also ODP seems to have been having problems recently. Their search feature is hit or miss. Could this be part of the problem?

Welcome printlist!

You can typically expect to wait 4-8 weeks for the Google directory to pick up a new ODP listing. Google generally updates the directory once a month.
