Concerned about these links

Can Gbody read them?

Hi, I'm working on a site that links from every page to its parent site via this script.

The parent site links (html) from every page to this site and I'm concerned about cross linking as the child site currently has no other backlinks. The child site only has html links to the parent from the homepage and in the body text from one other page. I just want to make sure Googlebot won't read this link. Is true yes?

I think it will read that no problem, it is just an a tag <a href="http://www.xxx.com" around an image.
