How does PR0 get top Ranking?

I just searched for 'Googleguy' on google.

His WebMasterWorld member page came up top. It has a grey PR bar. It has over 100 WebMasterWorld internal links.

Could it be that a PR0 still counts.

I'm considering retiring from Search Engine Optimisation and taking up needlework!

Unfortunatly, the quilting and needle work keywords are getting fairly agressive too. tip: don't mess with the grandmothers ;)

I switched around the cgi's for profiles a few months ago to thwart email harvestors. I also am obfuscating email addresses on the page a bit at random. I don't think we are seeing the real pr on those pages - hence, it's grey and not white. I've tried to address everyones concerns there, but there has been so many requests and problems with profiles, that I'm just leaving it alone and letting google do whatever they will do with those pages (wysiwyg).
