I'm looking at all their partners' sites and see all new stuff listed. Almost like it was a big update because it wasn't there yesterday. Sites included that were not indexed last update and I'm not talking about that "mid-month" fluctuation kind of stuff either. I just can't figure it out.
I've studied my log files all day and there has been a surge in traffic today from all Google partner sites. (ie. AOL, Earthlink, Alexa, Iwon, etc.) Even from Google themselves! I go to www.google.com and see all these new results randomly. Sometimes it is the old results, the results on the partners, and the results on the www# servers.
When I try to find these rankings on www1, www2, and www3, they just aren't there and they have NOT been there all day.
To say again, what I am seeing on the partner sites is a different update than what has been showing in the www#'s
The www# servers just seem different this time around. Lots of news stories popping up in the top 10. Irrelevant sites in the top 10. It's like wwwX has become a much larger test bed than it has been previously.
I have never seen this much shifting on the update servers before. In the past 4-5 updates, what I would see at the very beginning of update time would stick till the end. No shifting at all before. For some of you this happens but for me, never.
Look at how many people are posting about big drops in their sites. Something isn't right with the www# servers.
Like I said, I'm just studying my log files, partner sites, and Google itself. I'm seeing all new stuff that was not there before. To me it looks like the update is pretty much finished and out there.
Give some input. What are you seeing on the partner sites and Google itself?

not seeing ANY updated serps on Google partner sites (Yahoo.com and .co.uk or Aol.com and .co.uk)

I hope you're right. www2/3 is the most upside down thing Google has ever shown. It must be some kind of a morbid joke(Tell us you're joking GoogleGuy):). One of my sites, with a pr5, has gone from 8th to 84th. 10 positions ahead of me is a greyed out pr page with almost no keywords in it. But that's all on w2 & 3.
One thing I noticed. The cached page on www is a later date than the one on w2&3.
