google showing categories!

Was this there before or is it something new?

It is very strange..and I am sure you all are experts in this. :)

I have noticed something today while searching for something in google...I typed in the search box "hotels" and as usual it gave me results for hotels.

But I just noticed today that above the search results there is "category" mentioned
ex.
Category: Recreation > Travel > Lodging > Hotels > Hotel Chains

Was it always there with the news or is this something new...If it was there from a long time then i was blind and didn't notice it ;)
