links.php has googlebot's interest

Does google pay extra attention to files with link in the name?

Watching the logs on my new website over the last few weeks on my new website has shown an extreme interest in my links.php file that I use to display my 3 link pages (manufacturers, retailers and members home pages). The "links" links are near the middle of the page, so it's not like it just happens to be looking at the first ore last links.

It has only followed one other link from the home page one time, but it comes back at least daily, sometimes several times a day to check my links.

Has anyone else ever noticed this? I did a site search and couldn't find any mention of it.

It makes sense, since external links are very important to them.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Does this message have a high enough KW density on the word links?

I don't think it's keyword density. Google will spider a page more often if it has good PageRank, an ODP listing or a Yahoo! listing.
