Yahoo looks and acts different today

Showing Google results, powered by HP?

I might be totally wrong but Yahoo looks different to me today. When I do a search it jumps directly to the Web Pages results, even if it has results in its own directory. The Web Pages results are a 100% mirror of what you get on Google but in the right top corner it says "Powered by hp". There is no reference to Google anymore. Now what does this mean?

I am seeing the directory results first. I do however see that "powered by HP". That powered by HP may be nothing more than an ad. IIRC Yahoo never listed Google on their page.

Strike that. "Search Technology Provided by Google" shows once I get off the directory page.

This is weird. I have done searches where Yahoo definitively has thousands of results (including some of my sites) but it still jumps to the Web Pages immediately. And if I'm not completely wrong on the Wab Pages results it did show a small Google logo where it now says "Powered by hp", but I might be wrong.

Wish I could concur, but looks much the same to me - assuming we're talking about .com - I even tried with Anonymizer.
Yes, I saw the HP logo, no, it didn't jump straight to web pages.

Yes, it's the .com. I am in Germany, could this make a difference?

I have seen the hp for some time. I aleays assumed that hp powered the directory results, and google powers the web results.

The design also looks slightly different. However, if I use a proxy it's still the same old thing.

Guess the editors can delete this thread. Just cleaned my hd of all cookies and stuff, and now everything is back to normal. I'm not alone working on this computer, so probably someone has been doing something here before me.
