Googlebot spidering framesets?

So does googlebot spider framesets or not?

Just noticed a framed site whose pages have been indexed by Google - without placing links in the <noframes> tag.
I didn't think googlebot followed frames?

Thoughts?

Are there any links between the internal pages of the site?

There is no consistent navigation on the content pages, but there is some crosslinking throughout the copy.

I just performed a backwards link check on the home content page and google has the frameset down as a link to it (even though there is there is no "a href" links to it - just a frameset)

I've seen this over a variety of websites now - which kinda lends support to the idea that google does indeed spider framesets - Shoot holes in this theory at will ;)

I agree kreeper. In my tests, Google follows frame src happily. It's the <A href...>s in the noframes that seem not always to get credit.
