pondering serp for specific keywords

I've been reading through the posts on this board and am very appreciative for all of the great info posted here.

I was doing some research and came across something i couldn't quite figure out. When doing a search for "[searchphrase]", the #3 spot is a PR2 and doesn't appear to have much content, while the #5 spot is a PR6 and appears to have followed the type of advice that gets posted to this forum. Does anyone have any ideas?

Google accounts for many factors besides just PR & the page's content. Look thru this thread:
[webmasterworld.com...] & you'll find some of the other factors that will likely explain your situation.

I believe I found the answer to my own question shortly after posting it. It appears that it was the inbount link text that was making the difference.
