I have a problem getting indexed with Google. I used to have many top 20 search terms on multiple pages with Google. Our hosting ISP was Simplenet which was bought out by Yahoo. They kept an alias going which kept our search engine placements in place with Google, but, without warning or advance notice in May of 2002, Yahoo shut off the host for Simplenet. Our site is still with yahoo under our domain name: <snip>, but only our home page comes up. It was submitted right away after May and resubmitted in July. I believe that my internal link pages have some wrong code on them. I really need someone to look at the source code on some of my pages and advise me what is wrong. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help and advise me what I have done wrong.

When did your site first appear back in Google? Sometimes you get only the home page listed at first, then more of the site after about a month.

I first noticed that my home page was listed in July of this year. I did some major modifications to the page and the one that is cached now has the new page so I have to think that Google has visited the site at least once since the modifications.

If you add your Web site url to your profile, people can look at the source code.

Sorry. I have updated my profile. I am new at this forum business, so I am still learning. Thank you for pointing that out.

There are many reasons your site may not be listed in Google - your site could have been down during the crawls, there may be a technical glitch at your web host end or your site may have a penalty. Your site has a lot of links but a grayed out tool bar, which may be a sign of a penalty, if none of the other causes of not being indexed apply.

I've noticed that many pages with "themeindex" in the name of the links page now have PR0 or grayed out tool bars. All of the reciprocal link requests I've gotten lately where the site had a themeindex page have not had any page rank. I don't know much about Zues, but I get the feeling it's not a big hit with Google. Personally would not put a zues banner on my site. It's like waving a red flag to have your code checked closer.

Also your home page and some of your other pages have keyword stuffing in small letters at the bottom with a text color close to the background color of the page. I'm not sure what is in Google's algo to cover that, but if I were writing search engine code I'd penalize a site that did that. ;)
