Can anyone recommend a good Google friendly forum script?

Anyone had a great deal of success getting their forum posts consistently indexed by Google?

I know that Google has mentioned that they are working on improving their indexing of dynamically produced pages, but I am wondering if any of you know of a high quality forum script that produces static HTML pages with simple URLs.

Any feedback and insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hands down, the very best forum software in existence is called BestBBS.

However, it is not yet commercially avaialble. So until it is, I think the best thing you can do is head over to the ODP forum script category [dmoz.org] and start working your way through the listings.

You seem to have a good understanding about the type of functionality you need to have in order to be search engine friendly.
