Googlebot hitting my PR4 site every 2 days

This has been going on for over a week!

Hi, googlebot has been hitting my PR4 site doing a full crawl
every other day since about Aug 24th. Plus my cache date
is showing in results to be updated with each date, for example
today I'm showing Sept 4th 2002. This is great! What's going on?

I've recently keyword density optimized, and have received a lot
of new PR5 and PR6 backlinks since the last dance. Is everyone
seeing these results or am I just lucky? And can this be because
google thinks my site is suddenly more important? I do hope
to see PR5 next dance, as I was PR5 before the recent dance.

Anyone know what's going on? Is this just "everflux"?

Yeah, I've read those, and understand that we'll be seeing changing results from the everflux, but it still seems odd that my site
is being hit so often as a PR4. I thought it was only high PR sites that got a regular refresh?
