Promoting Pages on Google

Say I have 50 pages on my web site.

Of those 50 pages all are on Google.

But I only actively promote 20, with Title tags, links, good content text etc.

My question is, of the remaining 30 pages the Title tags have no title - therefore Google will display 'No title' in the results.

Is it worth my time and effort to put a keyword term in the title - that reflects the page. I am not going to the effort of ensuring that the text is totally maximized for promotion.

Will this in anyway boost the current rankings that these pages already have.

I am not interested in links etc. Will Google give any extra weight to the title tag have keywords in it.

Yes, it's definitely worth it, and worth it again to optimise all your pages. But the titles will indisputably help - make them reflect both the page and the wider focus of the whole site.

Put those keywords in the Title now, that will boost your ranking and theme in the page will also get much better.

Good advice. While the concept of doorway pages is out of favor, in a sense, every page on your site is a doorway page. You want every page to be a potential entry into your site. Provide good navigation on every page, and it will magnify your site'e usability.

And title tags on every page are a must.
