Google typically updates the entire index toward the end of each month, generally the 20th-25th. In between updates, brand new sites sometimes come and go, but that stabilizes with the main update. If Googlebot just crawled your site, it will probably appear in the coming update, although you may not get any PageRank until the following update. Tip: Your rankings will improve if you leave out cold milk and chocolate chip cookies for Ms. Googlebot. I use that technique very successfully. ;)

I am guessing since we have been "tapped" with two or three google bot hits since the week prior, she was previously following inbound links to us from higher PR sites. Does this sound logical?
