How long before Google updates its directory from the DMOZ?

By some unfathomable miracle, just 2 days time after submitting a rather new site of mine to the ODP, in a category listed without an editor in fact, I found by checking dmoz.org that it was added!? How often does Google update its directory to match whatever is current at dmoz.org?

Right about the same time as the dance - you also have to hope that DMOZ updates its search BEFORE google does it's crawl (which I'm not sure when it happens). I had a page that took just over two months to go from the DMOZ to Google directory because the crawl and updates weren't in sync.

My site made it to google last week from DMOZ. I believe that means you are at the very beginning of the cycle. So you will have to wait till the next update.

This site is already in Google. This site already does very well on Google searches. I'm figuring that if it makes it into the Google directory, because it so far gets most of its PageRank from the link from my related site so far, if it is linked to from Google's own directory their bot will think it is OK.
