Hi all.. I am seeing something very odd.. when I am on our website and going page to page.. almost all pages are a PR3, however when I go on google and do a search for that page, we are ranked on the fourth or fifth page of results, then when I click on our page in the google search results, the page comes up a PR0 (totally white bar)

Can anyone explain why when we go directly on our site and are on a page it is a PR3 but when we click on the same page through a google search why that same page is a PR0????

The toolbar will "Guess" a pagerank based upon the structure of your site if it doesn't have a real PR listed. If it's not listed in the directory with a PR, then what you are seeing is a guess. This normally follows this:

Your main page PR
minus one
minus one for each "/"
equals "guessed PR"

Dynamic sites seem to be slightly different as the "?" plays a role that doesn't quite work the same way as the "/"

Thanks for the advice.. it looks like they are taking the Directory listing from DMOZ and that is a confusing story.. we did a change or url and if you search for us and then click on our link it takes you to the old site, if you navigate it takes you to the new.. when I click on the link in the google, it takes us to the old site, so not sure what to think of that.. I really am not sure if the new site is in the google directory or if they have the old site still..
