I would like to know how long a PR0 Penalty lasts. Could it be that the site will never get any PR, so that I should buy a new Domain as fast as possible? Does linking from a not-penalised Domain to a penalised domain give penalties to both Domains? Only because I set a link to a penalized Domain? This would be rather unfair, wouldn't it?

I created my links/resources pages, one by one, over a period of almost three years (started before I even knew what page rank was), visiting every site to check out its theme before I linked to them and most were other jewelers/lapidaries I either knew personally or from the net. I used to have a disclaimer on these pages that was similar to the one found on Zeus pages but removed it - just in case G! thought my pages were Zeus created.
Yep, I admit :( , I was also in a couple of link farms but they've been gone for a long time.
Why Oh why did I have to be offline when God decided to respond to me?
:(
MancyB You have my sincere sympathy as I see you have a similar penalty to myself. Let us sincerely hope that the September update by Google will allow us all to emerge again in our rightful positions.
I am almost at my wits end trying to work out what to do. This has all been a huge learning curve for me and it has cost me dearly.
At least I have become more knowledgeable about different SEs out there, though Google is the only one that really matters as far as results are concerned. My difficulty is that the majority of my customers have been Google users - people using their computers really long hours, not the casual surfers who have their computers pre-loaded with IE and then go straight to M$N for their odd search.
