backlinks are just as important as pr?

You're wrong.

Last week i learned about pr, and i downloaded the google toolbar.
This week i'm gathering high pr'd link partners, for increase of my own pr.

i noticed this:
These high-pr sites rank highter than my keyw-keyw-keyw.nl domain on my own keywords?.

These high pr sites have NOTHING to do with my subject.
My backlinks are ONLY about this subject, and mostly exactly the same as the keywords i wan't to be found with.

These high pr sites have linkbacks with <a> that is are not even close to my subject.

The only reasom they have my keyword(s) in the description is cause my link is added on their site.

!This high pr'd site ranks higher than me!

so, hereby i declare that pr is even more important than (relevant)backlinks.

the question:

i've got listed in a pr7 site.
this site is last (again) crawled on 25-8, and then my link was already on this site:

Ok, google knows this site links to me with it's pr7.

Why does google not show backlinks to my site already?

Do i have to wait a full crawl to see the backlink?

We've been talking about this in the "Master of the Universe [webmasterworld.com]" thread. Nope. The spiders can't tell what's relevant, which means that any link from any high PR site is just as good as one from a relevant one.

... At least for now. As theming and clustering algos improve, so should this major flaw (among a few others) in Google's PR.

it's better actually! he outranks me now with his #1 listing! while my site is optimized for this keyword, and his site is not but his pr takes him #1.
